AS TERRORISTS ARE NOW USING SOCIAL MEDIA GOVERNMENT SEEK HELP FROM SILICON VALLEY .

To deal with this scenario government of US and of other countries are now finding a way to deal with this stuff as organizations like ISIS are widely using twitter few months ago there was news related to ISIS twitter accounts you can check it here. While governments are trying to find a way to deal with this on the other hand social media sites like twitter and Facebook have put their hands up cnet reported "Twitter and Facebook say it's unrealistic and impossible to do more than they are already without violating free speech and privacy rights.
Violent threats and the promotion of terrorism deserve no place on Twitter and our rules make that clear," a spokesman for the San Francisco-based social networking site said Tuesday. "We have teams around the world actively investigating reports of rule violations, and they work with law enforcement entities around the world when appropriate."
Companies like Apple have already refused to bend their rules even after getting several requests from government to provide a backdoor from which they can access terrorists communication. Stance of such companies is that they everyone has right of privacy and freedom and providing a backdoor will violate right of privacy.
Government of US and European union are deciding to make a law and according to that law tech companies will be bound to provide a backdoor to government.
Debate regarding backdoor access is heating up and is not expected to cool down soon .Country like PAKISTAN who is a key player and strategic ally of US and UK for war against terrorism face a similar issue when they asked mobile making giant Blackberry to give access to encrypted messages of BBM. Despite after a warning from gov of Pakistan that if they will not provide backdoor they will not be allowed to work in Pakistan but still they refused and "Blackberry will leave pakistan by this years end" by this years end.
Big tech companies should cooperate with governments and specially key players like Pakistan who is witnessing a huge success in operation zarb-e-azb which is taking place in North waziristan and the whole world is appreciating its efforts.
Silicon valley should take a solid stand against terrorism byhelping Governments.
