FACEBOOK TESTS NEW LIVE VIDEO STREAMING FEATURE

FACEBOOK IS ALLOWING FEW USERS TO SHARE THEIR LIVE VIDEO ON NEWS FEED

We all know that few months back Facebook's introduced live video-streaming feature for rich and public figures  which now not only restricted to them anymore.
The social networking giant Facebook said on Thursday it has begun testing of live video streaming for general users.

"Live lets you show the people you care about what you're seeing in real time -- whether you're visiting a new place, cooking your favorite recipe, or just want to share some thoughts," Vadim Lavrusik and Thai Tran, product managers at Facebook, said in a blog post.

Facebook is letting small percentage of Apple iPhone users to test live video streaming in the US.According to Facebook representatives they are expecting to bring this feature to Android by next year.
Facebook, with approx 1.5 billion users worldwide, has become one of the world's most most popular sites for watching video. People view more than 8 billion videos a day on Facebook, according to the Menlo Park, California-based company.
Well let me tell you guys Facebook is only the first social networking site to introduce such type of feature.Twitter has already introduced its live video application periscope.
The thing which really grabs attention is that why Facebook choose Apple iphone users over Android users.
